History of Gardei, America's Oldest Supplier of Grinding Wheel Blotters & Grinding Wheel Labels

As America's oldest supplier of grinding wheel blotters and grinding wheel labels, Gardei has been serving the needs of the abrasives industry since 1878. One of Gardei's earliest customers was Carborundum who, due to the proximity of Gardei to the Carborundum manufacturing facility in Niagara Falls, New York; hired Gardei to manufacture blotters and labels for their abrasive products. With the instant industry recognition that came from being the Carborundum supplier for grinding wheel blotters and grinding wheel labels, Gardei soon became the primary supplier to most of the abrasives industry and continues to do business with these same companies today.

Though the abrasives industry was Gardei's entrée into die cut print manufacturing, Gardei has become well known in other industries for high-quality, competitively priced die cut products, both printed and non-printed. Some of the other die cut products Gardei manufactures are technical test labels, child craft products, and air freshener products.
